| 1. When should I arrive for my appointment? What if I'm going to be late? Please be at the studio at least 10 minutes before your appointment so you have time to prepare. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate clients that arrive late to their appointment as in busy season we are booked back to back. 2. What should I do when I arrive? Check in at the reception desk so that you can pay for your sitting. We will then supply you with further information regarding viewing and purchasing your portraits online. We have a washroom and closet if you wish to hang up your coat. We also request that you remove any wet footwear before entering the studio so we can keep our spaces clean. 3. How long in advance do I need to book an appointment? During busy Grad Season (February to June) sittings must be booked at least two weeks in advance. Weddings are typically booked a year in advance. 4. How do I book an appointment? What do you require? Business and portrait sittings can be booked over the phone with basic contact information. Graduates may click here to book their appointment online. For wedding clients we require a consultation which can be booked over the phone or email at least two weeks prior to the wedding date. | | 5. I'm not going to be able to make my sitting how do I cancel/rebook my appointment? Please call us to let us know in advance if at all possible, so that another client will be able to take your space. Unfortunately we are booking two weeks in advance as spaces are limited during our busy season from January to July. 6. I'm having trouble viewing my photos! Access your photos by clicking Review My Portraits, you will be redirected to a new website. On this website click on Online Proofs on the left side menu, which will then ask you to type your last name into the search criteria box. Choose your name/degree from the choices provided and input the password you were provided with at the time of your sitting. You should then be able to view all your portraits. 7. I don't know how to order my prints, what do I do? When viewing your portraits, you must create a Favourites list. This is a very simple bookmarking system that only you can view by registering with an email and a password that you create. Add the photos you would like to order to this list by clicking the pink square icon below the photo. Add any photo to your shopping cart to bring up the check out page. Set the pose number for each photo in your favourites list from the bottom of the package box. | | 8. The online shopping cart doesn't offer the options I would like. For customized orders we still require an online submission however you may indicate via the comments box at the end of the order process, or by email (so that we have written confirmation) of the changes or requests you would like to make and we will do our best to accommodate you. 9. I purchased your Group-On, how does it work? With the Group-On Deal, you receive your choice of an in-studio or outdoor (weather depending) session with an hour's worth of shooting time within the Kingston area. Anywhere from 50 to 100 photographs will be taken and posted to our password protected website. From there you can choose the image you would like for your complimentary 11x14 print as well as order additional prints if you so choose. As a bonus you also receive a CD with proof-sized images (not suitable for print). To book your session please contact the studio by phone or email. 11. My photos are no longer online. Can I still order them? Simply contact us with your name or client number, as well as the year the photographs were taken place and we should have them re-posted to the website within 24 hours. We only guarantee storage of photographs for two years, if it has been longer than two years please allow longer re-post time. |
